The Heroine’s Journey of Karen Roberge

What is the best thing I love about my work?  I love that I get to meet so many different people. People from different backgrounds, personalities and knowing that I could possibly be an influence in their life is everything to me.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?  For me, peace and joy come from knowing my Lord Jesus Christ. Then of coarse, family and spending time with them makes me very happy.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?  Anytime that I am acting, doing or behaving in a self-centered way. I don’t ever want to be that person!

What is my greatest extravagance? This is a hard question for me because I’ve always been known for my “good finds” or “thrifty spending”. I’m always looking for a good deal, but then again there’s always My love for Disneyland!

What is the influence of role models in my work & in my life? There isn’t really one particular actress I look up to, even though there are many great ones. I love those that are themselves though and don’t change cause of fame or fortune. My sister, parents and even our grown daughter show me to never give up!

If I could, what would I change about myself?  Definitely I would always want to be very confident. Confidence can go along ways in this industry.

What is my greatest achievement in work?  I’ve been an Artist, Art Teacher, hairdresser, theater actress, improv actress and in film! Couldn’t have done any of it without the support of my loving husband and family.
