What is the best thing that I love about my work? I am an artist and I love listening to my Muse when she speaks which is often luckily. When I paint or play in photoshop I lose myself for long periods of time. It is like taking a vacation from my mundane thoughts constantly rattling in my brain. That is not to say painting is not frustrating. It is. because until you are finished you never know whether your creation will happen as you envision it.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? People who are compassionate and live according to their inner beliefs, despite societies’ propensity to worship money above all. They treat others as themselves, who if they can make the world a better place for all, act in whatever capacity they are capable of. I am also full of awe for people who live in the street and have to scrounge for food and continue to live.
What is my greatest extravagance? I am a very prolific artist, even sometimes painting a canvas a day. Art supplies are very expensive, so I often re-paint older works. A new canvas and art supplies are my greatest extravagance.
On what occasion would I lie? To save someone’s life. Or dignity.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The art world and how it is, in our industrial age, at the mercy of rich idiots, who make artists become marketing specialists instead of listening to their Muse. Art has become meaningless kitsch, without transcendent value decorating rich people’s walls. (pop art, abstract art)

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The AGO, Art Gallery of Ontario, recently re built by Frank Gehry.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Fresh, a very fine vegetarian restaurant.
