What is the best thing that I love about my work? The possibility of communicating in a universal way.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? To have time to do what I love when I want to do it

What is my greatest fear? No longer being able to create. In particular, I am afraid of losing the use of hands or the mental clarity to work at my best.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? At work I can be very demanding, stubborn and a real control maniac!

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? There are so many people I admire, each for different reasons. It would be very difficult to name everyone.

What is my greatest extravagance? I don’t know, maybe my obsession with simmetry.

On what occasion would I lie? I would do so to protect myself or someone I love.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Sometimes true talent, study and dedication to our work are not adequately rewarded.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? To me, there are no happy moments in particular, but rather exciting ones. When the idea you have in mind takes the right way, it’s like feeling suddenly in love. This is the moment I prefer during the whole creative process!

If I could, what would I change about myself? Sometimes I tend to procrastinate.

What is my greatest achievement in work? My first exhibition of sculptures. It represented a great evolution in my work, until then, all based on drawing.

Where would I most like to live?  I love Rome, it is the city that I have chosen and where I want to stay, despite all its problems. On the other hand, I would also spend few months in London, a cosmopolitan city full of interesting exhibitions and amazing places.

What is my most treasured possession? My old books, rare comics and above all the artworks of my friends.

What is my most marked characteristic? Patience and perseverance.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? No place in particular, but I love walking through the center of Rome. It is a city rich in art and spectacular views.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? There is a very special place in my heart: theHulaHoop club”, not only a place to eat and to drink, but also a place to dream! In this club, you can visit art exhibitions, listen to music or watch theater performances. Here I can meet my friends in every moment and I feel this place as a second home!

What books influenced my life and how? I have loved many books but one of them is my favorite: “Human, All too Human” by F. Nietzsche. I think his reflections on the value of Science, on morals and on other important aspects of life are still incredibly current .

Who are my favorite writers? Oscar Wilde, Herman Hesse,William Blake and so many others.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I don’t know, but for sure I wouldn’t want to hear people crying. Death is not the end, it’s just a “change of dress”.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Nobody in fiction. All my heroines and heroes are real people.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? All my best friends. They are men and women, strong, brave and brilliant. They have known how to turn their difficult lives into art.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Hedwig by J.Cameron Mitchell, a rock musical about the origin of love and its complexity, but above all about how feelings influence the creative process.

What role plays art in my life and work? Art is what gives meaning to my life. Making art is not only a job,it is a spiritual necessity.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My dear friend Natascia Raffio. We started to exhibit together about 20 years ago and we always helped each other. Our styles are very different but each of us deeply appreciates and values ​​the work of the other.

Whom would I like to work with in 2018? I do not know, but I would like to work again with some foreign galleries.

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018? I have already had the pleasure to meet many personalities that I admire, so in 2018, I hope to discover new ones.

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? For the moment, I don’t have a precise schedule of upcoming exhibitions because I felt the need to have a phase of study to make my work evolve.

Where can you see me or my work in 2018? Some of my works are currently on display at Nero Gallery and Nardi Gallery in Rome.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? The desire to fulfill one’s dreams despite adversity.
