What is the best thing that I love about my work? Transformation! As an actress i like the idea that i can be everything and everybody

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Actually i don’t look for happiness but for tranquility because i’m a very restless person…but i think that being just an actress without the need of other extra works would be great!

What is my greatest fear? To be considered dead and be buried while i am still alive…i know it sounds weird but it scares me to death!

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I’m fickle, terribly fickle!

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Jessica Lange and Isabelle Huppert…both so talented and fascinating, i’m crazy about them!

What is my greatest extravagance? I don’t know…many things that are normal to me are strange for my friends or my family. No doubt i’m an extravagant person…sometimes i wear my pajama with my beloved vintage perfecto or a chic coat and i go to shop with nonchalance!

On what occasion would I lie? When i’m bored or when a conversation is annoying…by the way, from time to time i like to invent funny things about me, after all i’m an actress!

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? That nowadays talent is not so important and meritocracy doesn’t exist

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I’m happy each time i can play, each time that i can really express myself with my voice, with my eyes, with my hands…i don’t care where i am

If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to be a less ambitious person

What is my greatest achievement in work? Recently i played Maria Callas and it was amazing! It was very hard, scary and dangerous because it’s always a risk to bring on screen or on stage a great artist like her…but people appreciated very much my performance and i’m very happy and proud about it.

Where would I most like to live? Paris Paris Paris Paris…and Paris!

What is my most treasured possession? Well… i will tell you something sentimental and something a little more frivolous but not less loved: a beautiful gold ring that my father gave to my mother the day i was born; and the Bert Stern’s book about the last sitting with Marilyn Monroe, it’s a very rare and huge book that i found in a bookshop that was closing

What is my most marked characteristic? A little mole on the tip of my nose…my grandmother loved it, she said it makes me look like a pretty little witch!

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Oh…i totally love my city, every spot of Florence it’s pure magic and mistery to me, you can breath history and art everywhere…you just have to open your eyes and walk to get inspired in Florence!

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? I have to confess that i don’l like very much to spend too much time in restaurants or pubs…so, i would say that eating a good pizza with a cold coca cola on a bridge, is my cup of tea!

What books influenced my life and how? Since i was a child, biographies of great Stars like Katharine Hepburn, Joan Crawford and Greta Garbo inspired me very much as an actress…i suppose that, unconsciously, their lives made me understand what I really wanted to do with myself

Who are my favorite writers? Oriana Fallaci, Simone de Beauvoir, Anais Nin, Erica Jong, Virginia Woolfi like strong independent women!

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? It’s so hard to answer! I love music and i’m very eclectic…so, sometimes i’d love to leave this world with a loud rock song, and sometimes i think that i hope to close forever my eyes while ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’s Intermezzo’ by Mascagni is playing…

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Lady Oscar! She’s my Hero! So beautiful, strong and brave…if you don’t know her we can’t be friends.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? I don’t know…real life it’s very hard… but i think that if we were just a little more understanding and willing to help others we could really be heroes like David Bowie sang…e

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? ‘Bellissima’ by Visconti with the magnificent Anna Magnani!

What role plays art in my life and work? Fundamental! Each kind of art is inspiration to me, you can’t do art if you don’t know art.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My parents and my closest friends are my crazy gang, they believe in my talent much more than me and each time that i feel insecure or i want to give up they give me the strength to go on

Whom would I like to work with in 2018? I would like to be directed by a woman…but the most important thing is to work!

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018? I’d like to meet a good agent that really believes in me and in my talent

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? Since i also like very much to write, right now i’m finishing my novel and i’m correcting the script of my first film

Where can you see me or my work in 2018? I don’t know yet…i really hope it will be an year of good chances

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? To me, it means that you can’t escape from what you really are and what you really want to be

Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story? I have to think about it…creative heroines are hard to find
