What is the best thing that I love about my work? There are so many things! I love the process, and it makes me incredibly happy whenever someone tells me my work resonates with them or make them happy.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? Working on art, with company of my boyfriend and a cat or four, drinking a cup of tea.
What is my greatest fear? Everyone I love abandoning me.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? My strong tendency to procrastinate, heavily influenced by my addiction to social media.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Anyone that is able to stay true to themselves and create authentically.
What is my greatest extravagance? Sushi!
On what occasion would I lie? To get away from an uncomfortable/unsafe situation.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Probably framing and packing painting for shipping.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? A few years ago, when I just painted what I wanted with no thought to numbers or social media. I am aiming to get back there.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would get more focused and stop procrastinating as much.
What is my greatest achievement in work? Staying motivated and mostly true to myself in a world where everyone has an opinion.
Where would I most like to live? In the countryside, surrounded by nature, possibly even a lake or a river.
What is my most treasured possession? Unfortunately, probably my phone.
What is my most marked characteristic? Openness and honesty.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Anywhere close to the water.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? My living room.
What books influenced my life and how? Matilda by Roald Dahl was my childhood favorite. It showed me that it was ok to be different!
Who are my favorite writers? Currently it has to be Neil Gaiman and Kate Morton.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Probably Florence + the Machine
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Matilda is still very much badass to me.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Anyone who lives their life fully, being themselves.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? The first one that comes to mind is A Nightmare Before Christmas!
What role plays art in my life and work? Art is my therapy, my joy and my way of communicating with the world.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My mother has always supported me, from buying all the random supplies I wanted to try growing up, driving me to events and shopping and even helping out on events.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018? I would love to have more events with my artist collective Copycat Violence.
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018? There is so many! But I would absolutely love to meet Brynn Elizabeth.
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? I have been asked to make a painting for a fundraiser for research on ME/cfs, the illness I have. It’s a great honor!

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? It means that no matter how hard things get, I will always love and find peace in art.
