What is the best thing that I love about my work? The sense of freedom. When I sit in front of my blank canvas I know I can draw/paint everything I want or experiment with the mediums how I please.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? I think there are some moments in your day where you feel a wave of happiness rushing through you. It can be in the simple things like the first sip of coffee in the morning. You just need to pay enough attention to notice it.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Being shy. I lost many opportunities because I did not had enough courage to stand up and try things. I don’t want this to happen again.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? There are so many wonderful people out there I can’t just number them down. I think I am a fan of anyone that is following their dreams even when there are hard times.
What is my greatest extravagance? Art supplies, art supplies and art supplies.
On what occasion would I lie? I don’t like lying and I am very direct with everyone but sometimes I would tell some white lies to avoid unnecessary conflict.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? I think editing photos is the thing I like the less. I am not very good at editing and it takes me a long time to have a good image, but I guess is just the fact that I do not have much practice.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Right now, in this moment.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to be able to express myself better with words. I fell like I cannot always externalize how I feel inside with words, painting how I feel or my thoughts is much easier.
What is my greatest achievement in work? Enduring the hard times and growing on a personal and artistic level.
Where would I most like to live? In a sunny, colourful and full of art place.
What is my most treasured possession? A painting a friend of mine did for me and my husband.
What is my most marked characteristic? I daydream.. a lot.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? There are lots of beautiful places and I can’t just pick one.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Wherever they serve tea and cake or wine.
What books influenced my life and how? The first book that made fell in love with reading was and old book of fables by Hans Christian Andersen. It is fascinating for me how just by reading you can enter in a world created by another mind and being able to see everything, cry, laugh etc.
Who are my favorite writers? There are lots that I like for a reason or another but I would say my favourite are Anne Rice, Stephen King and Stieg Larsson.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? The soundtrack of Inuyasha and the majority of the movies made by Studio Ghibli.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Sailor moon and Kagome.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? All the people that inspire me to be a better person.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? Howl’s moving castle and Spirited away. I guess you have time to watch 2 movies in a lifetime. 🙂
What role plays art in my life and work? It is my own world outside this world.
Some people decide they want to be part of it a little bit too every time they feel something by looking at my art or they want to collect a little piece from it.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My husband, he is the one that gifted me my first set of oil colors back in the days and made me fell in love with them.
I am also honored to have in my life my painter friend V. She has been such an inspiration and guide throughout the years and I’ve learned many things from her.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018? Oh, I really don’t know, there are so many people and galleries I would like to work with. I am excited for everything that comes. We shall see
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018? I guess I have the same answer as above. There are so many amazing people out there and you never know who is going to impact your life in a way or another.
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? I have an art show coming up in August at La Bodega Gallery and I am very much looking forward to it. Also I have some personal goals an projects that I want to work on but I do not feel like sharing just yet.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? I have this motto “You’re never too old to do what you love” and what I mean by this is that if you are really passionate about something you have to keep working and try your best to overcome all the challenges that come along.
