What is the best thing that I love about my work? I love meeting artists and talking about their work.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? Visiting a great art exhibition with a good friend or loved one.
What is my greatest fear? Going blind.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I can sometimes be a bit of a snob but I am very aware of my privileges and try to be openminded.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I really like Sarah Thornton.
What is my greatest extravagance? I spend a lot of time and money in visiting Art fairs and exhibitions. I also have paid more than I could really afford for art works of art too.
On what occasion would I lie? We live in a time of fake news we constantly have to check what is real and what is not. However the word art comes from Artificial culture is the opposite of nature. I condone outright lying but a reinterpretation existence for a greater good can be very interesting.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? I hate working to deadlines.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I loved spending my birthday in Venice during the biennale in 2017.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would not change anything I have many flaws both physical and in my character but I think one has to live with what they are given trying to make the best of it.
What is my greatest achievement in work? Successfully predicting Dr Maria Jane Balshaw as Sir Nicholas Andrew Serotas, successor as director of the Tate.
Where would I most like to live? I have lived and traveled to many places but love living in LA. However would still like to see much more of the world and spend more than just a vacation in other exciting places.
What is my most treasured possession? I have a signed book by Jill Johnston I had a lovely conversation with her when she signed it for me.
What is my most marked characteristic? I am quite shy but can be very quick witted people sometimes interpret this as being an ice queen.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I love spending an afternoon at LACMA.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? I love going down to Koreatown and find a nice barbecue place.
What books influenced my life and how? I already mentioned Sarah Thornton and Jill Johnston I also like Ways of Seeing by John Berger Berger. He investigates what art was to people previously, and what is means today. Also ‘Playing to the Gallery: Helping Contemporary Art in its Struggle to Be Understood’ by Grayson Perry.
Who are my favorite writers? Again I mentioned several already but I can also mention Celia Winter-Irving, Roberta Smith or in fiction Mary Shelley and Dickens
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? It would have to be Billie Holiday.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Lisbeth Salander the lead character in Stieg Larsson’s ‘Millennium’ series.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Again I have already named a few names here but I also hugely admire some people outside the art world like Malala Yousafzai.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? I love ‘Some like it hot’.
What role plays art in my life and work? It is the biggest part of my live I study it and am fully emerged in the art world most of my friends are artists, curators or art historians.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My mom.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018? Grayson Perry or Rachel Maclean.
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018? Andrew Graham Dixon.
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? I am now mostly concentrating on my studies and have less time for my blog. I am looking for other people who would like to collaborate on it with me.
