What is the best thing that I love about my work?
Being a film journalist, I had the chance to meet lots of artists and
directors. Talking to them about their vision is (almost) always nice
and exciting.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Peace, nature, sea, my home and my boyfriend.

What is my greatest fear?
Illnesses, losing people that I love.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
Impulsiveness.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
I have lots of models, great film critics and talented writers and
journalists of newspapers and websites. If I have to say a name I
would say Fabio Ferzetti. But I have great envy for tv journalists
because I’m not so good in public speaking.

What is my greatest extravagance?
I would like to do everything that I’m not able to.

On what occasion would I lie?
I try never to tell lies.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I dislike the fact that hierarchy, in my world, depends much more on
knowledges or prestige of the newspaper or website than on personal
skills.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
Last april, when I was able to interview Martin Freeman.

If I could, what would I change about myself?
Less shyness, more bravado.

What is my greatest achievement in work?
To have people that read me, appreciate my job and sometimes have the
desire to confront me about a movie or a series.

Where would I most like to live?
In Toscany, where I live.

What is my most treasured possession?
My car, a Fiat Panda!

What is my most marked characteristic?
I talk a lot.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
The seafront.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?
I love pizza, the best is Le simpatiche canaglie

What books influenced my life and how?
Everything written by Stephen King, especially It and The Stand. I
started reading him when i was 8 and I haven’t finished yet. King
taught me to love words, horror and characters. And Little Women,
every girl who like to write believed she was Jo at some point.

Who are my favorite writers?
Stephen King, of course, Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe, James Ellroy,
Giampaolo Simi and Zerocalcare.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?
Guns’n Roses at full volume.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?
Sherlock Holmes and Batman.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Ernesto Che Guevara, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, people who
are not afraid to fight for change.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?
All the President’s Men, to understand what is journalism.

What role plays art in my life and work?
Art plays a fundamental role in my life and in my work, I breath
cinema, music, litlerature, theatre and I’m happy to do it even for
work.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
My boyfriend.

Whom would I like to work with in 2018?
I’m happy to work with my editor in chief and colleagues, but I’d like
to collaborate with a big newspaper or magazine sometimes.

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018?
During the festivals I’m able to meet many colleagues. Maybe I’d like
to meet some editor in chief who wants to hear my proposals.

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on?
I’m trying to write more, not only about cinema, but even culture,
music, health and fitness.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
Passion is the engine of life, without it I doubt I could raise up
from my bed every morning and I know that I’m very very lucky to be
able to do the job that i like the most.

Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story?
Heroines that are in places of power or that have work of great
responsibility. In a period of civil barbarism like the one we are experiencing we need
strong female models that show us the way.
