What is the best thing that I love about my work?
I am a mixed media artist with a science background. I love that I get to mix up these two parts of my brain. My paintings and sculptures are inspired by astronomy, physics and cognitive science. See video
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Living my life as an artist and being in the present moment. The doubts and worries have no place in there and so complete happiness lives in the present moment.
What is my greatest fear?
I am afraid I will run out of time before I finish what I came here to accomplish.

When I let my negative self-talk have its way and I compare myself to others.

I love young artists that are taking chances and creating new forms of art.

Taking time to go hiking.

I would lie to protect the innocents from evil entities.

I love what I do and even the aspects that are annoying I find contribute to my growth.

When a painting is being born and the dialogue is happening between it and myself.

I am always learning patience, but it is the process, so I wouldn’t change anything.

Where would I most like to live?
I love where I live in Santa Fe, NM, but if I couldn’t live here I would live in Australia.

My imagination and ability to leap from one idea to the next and to make connections and associations.

I love to hike up into the mountains and look out over the mesas and mountains.

Any place that has local green chili and New Mexican food.

I grew up reading Persian folk tales and this influenced my outlook and sparked my curiosity.
