What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I like the unpredictability and the diversity of my work. I can act in many different registers. For example, yesterday I did dubbing for a horror movie and tomorrow I act in a theatre play.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

To me, life is made of tiny moments that are part of happiness: the perfume of grass after it rained, the first chocolate bite, the complexity of a glass of wineWe are all looking for an ideal. More than the finality, the means we use to reach it, is what make us happy. After all, isn’t it like desire that once satisfied is no longer called desire?

What is my greatest fear?

I am claustrophobic so I’m afraid of imprisonment, a situation I could lose control…. I need my freedom.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

Perfectionism! It’s exhausting because you always feel you could do better. I am very hard on myself. It’s a waste of time and you have the feeling that you’re missing out on some great opportunities.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?

I am a great fan of the film Director: Cedric Klapish. He is able to film moments of daily life and to provoke great emotion deep inside.

What is my greatest extravagance?

Maybe when I imitate Michael Jackson! I used to do it when I was a child, I should try again to check if I can still do the Moonwalk!

On what occasion would I lie?

Lying is a dilemma to me. Integrity is hit deep down when you tell a lie. I never lie. 

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

To sell myself, but it’s part of the job.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? 

I am very happy when I act, when I transmit my emotions and act a role that is far from my personality.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

My fragility. Even if it helps me a lot as an actress to be authentic when I act, I can also be very touched by what people say. I tried to build a shield to protect myself over the past years and some people interpret it as coldness.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

As I am perfectionist it’s very hard to answer the question. I would say I did not achieved it yet.

The “greatest” achievement can be named when we look back on our career, my career is just beginning...

Where would I most like to live? 

There are so many countries where I would like to live: Australia, Canada… But more than a country I would like to live in a place where I feel home. Live in harmony and simplicity: 2 essential components.

What is my most treasured possession? 

It’s my little secret…!

What is my most marked characteristic

My commitment to everything I do. No matters the importance of the project, I commit myself at 200%.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city

I am from Paris and I use to travel all around the world. In Paris, I love walking on the Pont Alexandre III, it’s an arch bridge that spans the Seine. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

I love Basta Cosi in Luxembourg, the pasta is tasty and the surroundings make you feel comfortable.

What books influenced my life and how?

Si questo è un uomo (If This Is a Man) by Primo Levi is sadly my favourite book. The author who lived in the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Second World War describes meticulously the terrible conditions of his imprisonment. I admire the way he wrote this book without “pathos” despite the unimaginable conditions.

Shakespeare, Victor Hugo, Israël Horovitz, André Comte-Sponville, Éric-Emmanuel Schmit

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

Hit the road Jack! I had the chance to go to Ray Charles’s last concert in Paris.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction

My hero is real, he is my grandfather. He embodies all the values I admire in a man: Generosity, Courage and Loyalty.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime

La journée de la jupe (Skirt Day) by Jean-Paul Lilienfeld with Kevin Azaïs whom I had the joy to act with in a movie.

What role plays art in my life and work? 

Art is all my life, it flows into my veins.

Whom would I like to work with in 2018?

As I said before I love Cedric Klapish and I think that working with him must be a delightful human experience.

Which people in my profession would I love to meet in 2018?

I would love to meet the French film directors Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano.

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on?

This year I will probably work on a play. I am looking forward to working on movies.
