What is the best thing that i love about my work?
There is always something new to invent, the mind is constantly training and you never get bored.
There is no pre-established way of working, but each person builds his own.
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
My perfect moment: Sit by the sea, when nobody is there
My happiness in life: being able to reconcile the various aspects of my life: theater, travel, people.
What is my greatest fear?
My greatest fear is to make me limit by fear and make excuses for not truly believe in myself.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
Sometimes I trust everyone else’s more than myself.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
Philip Radice, the artistic director of the performing arts university I attended, and where I work now. Obviously he is not perfect but I admire him because he is always faithful to what he believes in.
And Tamara Cubas. I was a performer in one of her project, and she became the person
who I most admire both humanly and professionally
What is my greatest extravagance?
I’m very instinctive. Sometimes I do things before I realize I’ve started thinking about them.
On what occasion would I lie?
I can’t bear lies, so I always try to tell the truth, also if it is an unpleasant truth.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I hate when I have to wait for a long period for other people, and when people are
competitive rather then collaborative.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
The day of the debut of my first show like a director: the show was good, and all my
friends were there. It was a beatifull moment of happiness and sharing.
Also, every year, at the end of the last dance lesson, when my students thank me.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Sometimes I’m unfocused instead of work hard in the most important project, and I’m
really trying to change this attitude.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
At the moment, I don’t think I reached my greatest achievement, what I have achieved until now are steps that are leading me to grow.
Where would I most like to live?
There are three cities I like to live: Buenos Aires, New York and Lisboa
What is my most treasured possession?
My joy of living: thanks to that I’ve a lot of energy, I’m always in action, and I never give up.
What is my most marked characteristic?
I’m really messy.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
I often moved in different cities, and I’m going to move again. In every city where I lived my most inspirational location is by the water: whether it is sea, river or lake.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?
“Ranzini”, a tavern near Piazzetta IV Marzo, in Torino.
What books influenced my life and how?
My favorite books are “Ubu roi” by Alfred Jarry, an important book for my theatrical carrer, “Rayuela” by Julio Cortazar, probably because it’s set in one of my favorite cities, and “Hugry tide” by Amitav Gosh, because I read it at a time when I needed adventure.
Who are my favorite writers?
Calvino, Cortazar, Borges

Art has always been part of my life, and I need art.
I hope to make my life a work of art.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
I’m still waiting to find a person who can be all of this.

I hope to keep working with people I’ve been working for a year
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on?
I’m looking forward to work in two new shows, and I’m going to start a new research
project about the performing artist Tamara Cubas.
Where can you see me or my work in 2018?
I’m not sure where I’ll be in 2018, probably in Turin or Madrid.
What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
If your work is your passion too, you are not waiting for retirement to be happy.
