What is the best thing that I love about my work?
I love the very process of painting. It’s truly magical.
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Living in a beautiful place with my hubby and cats, doing art and selling it. Establishing a community driven, effective art program that grows art appreciation among teens and adults alike.
What is my greatest fear?
I don’t want to share it so there is no possibility for others to exploit it and for me to internalize it for good.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Loneliness
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I have many artists I follow admiring their talent. They include Marshennikov, Mann, Wiley, Miho Hirano, Eloy Morales, Cesar Santos.
What is my greatest extravagance?
On what occasion would I lie?
To protect the other person’s heart.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
Indifference to art by so many.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I’m afraid, it’s in my future.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
I’d like to be free from my deep emotional wounds. I’m working on it.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Probably doing what I’m still doing, which is painting.
Where would I most like to live?
I like change, so I have several places I’d like to live in for a while both in the US (Northern California and NY) and Italy.
What is my most treasured possession?
If it means a physical object, it’s my camera and laptop because I use them daily to produce art.
If it’s not physical, Hope is my possession.

5th avenue is fun to stroll and walk to the beach and back in Naples, Florida.

What books influenced my life and how?
I found a connection with Vladimir Nabokov’s stories that let me see and understand what’s inside me.
Currently, I read books on psychology and business that help me heal, teach, write and sell art.
Who are my favorite writers?
Nabokov is my favorite writer by far because of his deep understanding of human behavior/psychology and the use of beautiful language. He wrote fluently in several languages. I’m also fond of Oscar Wilde and Somerset Maugham for their simple, yet profound story telling.

Nature, birds chirping…
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Angelina Jolie and Robert Downey Jr. Both of them turned their life around by finding purpose in this world, overcoming personal struggles. This deserves admiration.
Elon Musk (Tesla & SpaceX) and Jeff Bezos (Amazon). I admire them for their vision and ability to push through daily difficulties to make their vision reality.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?
Oh, it depends on your taste. I consider drama to be the most emotional and challenging subject to create and watch. “I, Tonya” is one of such movies.
What role plays art in my life and work?
Art is an integral part of my being. It’s a visual language, and we paint what’s inside us. Many painters can’t express themselves otherwise, including me. Artists absorb and reflect on the environment they are in. I channel my emotions by painting the interior life of women that often stays private.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My husband.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018/2019? I’d like to work with positive people who care about the future of art, educating the communities and supporting the talent via writing, shows and more.
What project, in 2018/2019, am I looking forward to work on?
I want to create and publish my catalogue of paintings. But most of all, I really want to write about contemporary art on my blog and beyond, raising awareness about quality art and artists.
