The Heroine’s Journey of Sendres Cedrés Casuriaga

The best thing about my work is expressing my inner-world through both body and vocal language, and communicating with my partners and the audience.

My idea of perfect happiness is to be aligned with myself.

My greatest fear is to be abandoned.

The trait that I most deplore in myself, is my lack of confidence.

The living persons in my profession who I most admire are Peter Greenaway, Pedro Almodovar, Barbara Streisand, Mick Jagger, Svetlana Zakharova.

My greatest extravagance? My whole life is an extravagance.

I would never lie !

The thing that I dislike the most in my work, is having to network in superficial/fake environments.

I was the happiest on the day of my first show in Paris.

If I could change, I would be more confident.

My greatest achievement in my work, is yet to come!

I would I most like to live in Corsica.

My most treasured possession is the love of my sisters.

My most marked characteristic is my bravery.

The most inspirational location in my city, is “les Halles” and its surroundings.

My favourite place to eat and drink in Paris is the Hotel Meurice.

My favourite writers are Alejandra Pizarnik, Bertolt Brecht, Shakespeare, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.

On my last day I would only listen to the sound of nature.

My hero in fiction is Batman.

My real-life heroes are my parents.

I would recommend the movie “Orlando” by Sally Potter.

Life equals art, and art equals life.

My sisters are my greatest fans and sponsors. But I am my own partner in crime !

In 2018/2019 I would like to work with Romain Gavras, Camille Vidal-Naquet, Faouzi Bensaïdi, Paolo Sorrentino and Martin Scorsese.
