What is the best thing that I love about my work?

The best thing that I love about my work is when I am on stage. Feeling the adrenaline, the lights on my face and feel the audience. I work hard several months and when a magic moment on stage is created, it’s the most beautiful rewards.

My idea of perfect happiness is to be in perfect agreement between what I think, what I do and who I am…. When I feel “at home”, in the right place, in the good moment. These moments when we feel invaded by a feeling of LOVE.

My greatest fear is if, on day, I lose hope… Because if I lose my hopes and I resign myself, then I lose my inner fire.

The trait that I most deplore in myself is the lack of confidence in myself. When doubt becomes stronger.

The living persons in my profession do I most admire is Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter and Maguy Marin.

My greatest extravagance is my laugh. No matter where I am, I don’t know how to laugh quietly.

On what occasion would I lie?

I don’t know on what occasion I could lie but I wouldn’t lie for important things especially if the truth is hard to hear and even more with the people I love.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

The thing that I dislike the most in my work is when I feel that I have to enter an aesthetic box to have this project, this job etc… When I’m judged on the physical even before having seen my skills or my artistic qualities.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I was the happiest, in my work, in november this year. It was for the premiere of my new creation. For the first time, I’m happy with the path that took this show. I appreciate how he emancipated himself. And the feedbacks of the public confirmed it.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I don’t know. Sometimes all and sometimes nothing. Depends on the week. (Laugh)

What is my greatest achievement in work?

My greatest achievement at work is simply being able to do this job. I started dancing seriously at 18. I never thought I would ever be a dancer. I worked hard to have a good technical level and it will always remain a complex. I thought that if I hadn’t started ballet at 5 I would never be a good dancer. So, being a dancer and choreographer today is already a great success.

Where would I most like to live?

The place is not important for me. The most important is to be in the right place. In my place.

My most treasured possessions are my values.

My most marked characteristic is my loyalty.

My most inspirational location is my garden. I like to have my cocon, my landmarks.

I like go to the “Contrepoint café-Théâtre” (47000 AGEN, FRANCE) because I can eat, drink, see lot of shows and talk with artists.

What books influenced my life and how?

“La prophétie des Andes”, James Redfield. This book opened my mind about everythings make sense. Nothing happens by coincidence.

Who are my favorite writers?

My favorite writers are Françoise Sagan and Jiddu Krishnamurti. Françoise Sagan because I love her lucidity about human relations. Jiddu Krishnamurti because he helps me about accept all my faces, even the most dark, with lot of kindness. I am responsible for my life.

I would listen Nina Simone and Barbara.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

I have loved the film “Arrival” (“Premier contact”). Amy Adams is beautiful. She embodies everything I love, strength, fragility, curiosity, audacity, control despite fear, open minded, benevolence and she doesn’t judge…

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

I don’t have heroes/ heroines in real life but I admire people who get up despite the falls. I like people who have character and who fight. When I hear people’s stories, their experiences, I admire their journey and I am always amazed by what life can bring. Maybe because I wonder what my life will bring me?

In my dreams I write here all choreographers with which I want to work in 2019 and they contact me (laughs) : Maguy Marin, Akram Khan, Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Jiri Kylian.

In my dreams, this is strange but, people I would love to meet in 2019 are not dancer or choreographer but actress, just for drink a tea and talk… For exemple Juliette Binoche, Line Renaud… just 30 minutes and talk …

What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on?

I feel I want something new for 2019. So, I stay open for new projects. I don’t know what exactly but something new. Dance, music, cinema or photography … I need change. I want to be surprised. In 2019 I will be 29, I think I’m at a turning point and I need to see new things.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?

I think that when the passion is in you, she never leaves you. The object of passion can evolve, change but someone passionate will always keep deep within him a glow, alive.
