What is the best thing I like about my job? 
Freedom of creation and expression. Freedom! Freedom! I have had a great need for freedom since childhood.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? 
To have the means to carry out all the projects I have in mind and share them with others. In harmony, in a world at peace. I live in the countryside by choice, and my need for harmony is partially satisfied by the presence of nature, and also with the beauty of the castles of the Loire Valley…
What is my biggest fear? 
Violence and hatred, I would like it to be far behind humans.
What is the trait I regret most about myself? 
Too much honesty! But I still like myself.
Who are the living people in my profession I admire most? Many: Nikki de saint-phalle and Laure Addler
What is my greatest extravagance? 
Daring to become a visual artist
On what occasion would I lie? 
On my age not to be excluded from certain calls for artistic projects!
What is the thing I hate most about my job? 
All that is administrative procedures and time for research to find where to show my work.
When and where was I happiest in my job? 
Painting in my studio, some inspired series. But the best is yet to come.
If I could, what would I change about myself? 
I’d become a sportsman too! I have trouble playing sports and yet I should!
What is my greatest achievement in my work? 
Being setting up an artists’ collective!
Where would I most like to live? 
Where I am in Touraine! I found this region after years of research, and it’s a wonderful region!
What is my most precious possession?
My daughter, my family! Freedom and love! Nothing at all.
What is my most striking feature?
Generosity. Spontaneity.
What is my most inspiring place in my city? 
The countryside and the royal city of Loches a very beautiful castle!
What is my favorite place to eat and drink in my city?
At Véro’s, the café at Porte Picois in Loches 37600 France. A warm place where you can always meet friendly people.
Which books have influenced my life and how?
There are many of them… From John Irving to Nancy Huston, Italo Calvino, Gabriel Garcia-marquez, and Jean Hegland…The books that really influenced me are children’s books that I read when I was a child and then read again. Magda Szabo’s “Bleu île” and Kay Thompson’s “Eloïse”, I love them!
Who are my favorite authors?
So…!!!  Barbara Kingsolver, John Irving, JMG Le Clezio, Garcia-Marquez and many others….
You only die once. What music would I listen to on the last day? Either HIGELIN or my daughter’s laughter!

Dalva from the novel by Jim Harrison
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Nelson Mandela, Women Artists, Loving Mothers, Researchers and Nobel Peace Prizes. And Merryl Streep…And Valéria Bruni-Tedeschi…
What movie would I recommend to see once in my life? 
Wes Anderson’s film The grand budapest Hotel….
What role does art play in my life and work?
This is my life and my work! I could die without art in my life!
Who would I like to work with in 2019? 
with Charlélie Couture, a complete artist I’ve always loved! and with the gallery Le Terrier chez moi in Loches!
Who in my profession would I like to meet in 2019? Olivier Rousseau, gallery owner in Tours, a gallery in Paris that I don’t know yet, musicians to collaborate on projects.
What project am I looking forward to working on in 2019? 
My artists’ collective in southern Touraine!
