What is the best thing that I love about my work? Being lost in an idea and loosing track of time. Then creating something, standing back and thinking, I did that! Where did that come from
What is my idea of perfect happiness? Peace of mind

What is my greatest fear? Fear itself. Fear of rejection, Fear of hurting people
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Allowing my fear to hold me back.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I have only admired Azzedine Alaia and he passed late 2017
What is my greatest extravagance? Great dinners out and great Handbags
On what occasion would I lie? To make someone feel better

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The politics and the lies
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? In my studio designing my first corset
If I could, what would I change about myself? Be less fearful and make more opportunities for myself
What is my greatest achievement in work? The film Yugen I did with Salma Hayek. I designed all the corsets for the film and a beautiful corseted gown for her Empress character
Where would I most like to live? Notting Hill where I live and Rio de Janeiro if I was to live abroad

What is my most treasured possession? My first Azzedine Alaina dress which I bought when I was 18
What is my most marked characteristic? My smile
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Kensington Gardens. Its peaceful
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? The Electric House Portobello Road, The Cow Westbourne Park Road and The Farmacy Westbourne Grove
What books influenced my life and how? Road less Travelled. Scott M Peck. This book taught me that life is suffering and once we understand that, we transcend that. Perfume Patrick Suskind taught me about fantasy.
Who are my favorite writers? Paolo Coello, Patrick Suskind, Audrey Niffenegger, Federico Andahazi, Maya Angelou

Whom would I like to work with in 2019? No one person in particular. Just the chance to meet with and work with inspiring people
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2019? Bruce Oldfield, Hamish Bowles, Mr Pearl
What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on? A series of talks I will be doing on corsetry and how it has become a symbol of empowerment for women this century. all over London this summer
