What is the best thing that I love about my work? to be ahead of trends, to see many brands, collections, products and to be able to communicate my passion to my students

 What is my idea of happiness? doing what I like and being appreciated by the people i care about

What is my greatest fear? to become blind, I would be desperate not to see the world anymore

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? impulsivity

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Joyce Ma

What is my greatest extravagance? not sure to be extravagant

On what occasion would I lie? I try to never lie, as I know that lies will be discovered and my integrity will suffer

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? stress

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? when Joyce Ma, my mentor and heroine, showed me her respect, love and friendship besides work

If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to be less impulsive

What is my greatest achievement in work? to solve problems, to connect with brands and get what I want from a business point of view, and sharing passion to my marangoni students

Where would I most like to live? I love Italy, I think it is a very good place to live, perhaps not Milano after my retirement

What is my most treasured possession? A ring that belongs to my family from many generations and that gives me the feeling of my roots

What is my most marked characteristic? I’m a smiling person, always positive

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? There are many, I love the ones that are in  nice natural environment as gardens and orchards..

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? I love the places where I can eat good Asian food, the places where food is good and with a good service

What books influenced my life and how?  Books written by women  that talk about the power of women’s feelings. I LOVED  “Kabul Beauty School. An American Woman Goes Behind the Veil”, by Deborah Rodriguez;  Balzac et la petite tailleuse chinoise by  Sijie Dai, Address unknown by  Katherine Kressmann Taylor

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? A  bossa nova, I have brasilian roots and the brasilian music is my favorite

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? None

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? People who is able to do something for others, from different points of view

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Le train de vie, a beautiful and touching movie

What role plays art in my life and work? art is very important in my life, my family is very linked to art my father was a painter, my grand father a sculptor

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? I am lucky, as I am what I always wanted to be from, a very young age… I’m sure that it is sure that it is up to us to create your own story and life, with integrity and determination

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? I have more then one, luckily … my team for sure and my family

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2020? I’m happy to work for LANECRAWFORDJOYCE Group,  and for Istituto Marangoni, I don’t need any change!

Which people in my profession who can make a real difference in my creative career would i love to meet in 2020? People that can inspire me.. nobody in particular as I have been lucky in my life and I met many inspiring people…

What project, in 2020, am I looking forward to work on? Any project linked to fashion , new products, new stories to tell

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? Very true, I don’t think I will ever stop working

Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story? My daughter Beatrice Saralvo, a young talented woman , that can mix family and work in a very serene way
