Do not know what your dreamjob is?

What if you don’t know what your dream job is? What if you are itchy and unsatisfied in your current job/business/career but when you think about what’s next you draw a total blank?

Well, you are not alone.

There is very little in our society that encourages us to know what we really want to do. When we are children people ask us what we want to be when we grow up,, but once we are teenagers we are taught what we should be; we are channeled into a narrow range of careers based on security and stability rather than on passion.

The notion that we could follow our hearts when it comes to work is pretty much trained out of us by the time we leave school. So who can blame us if, by the time we realize that our ‘practical’ jobs don’t fulfill us, we have already forgotten how to find our own passions inside? That may be another reason to consider The Heroine’s Journey. It enables you to experiment, to test out all sorts of dreamjobs that might be appealing.
