Story Tour is a uniquely Peter de Kuster Offering. In this 2-day experience, a small group of client participants – between 6 and 12 people – are guided on a fascinating tour of various business venues and destinations to indelibly link the concepts of great storytelling with the company-specific application of those ideas. Participants encounter firsthand the triumphs and failures of storytelling in their business and are guided to extract underlying storytelling principles that they can apply to their own business.
The client team gathers with Peter in a predetermined “storytelling-rich” city, such as Rome, Paris, London, Venice, Barcelona, Florence, Berlin, Hollywood or New York. In each case, we recommend a city best suited for the client and then develop a tailored mix of tour stops based on the client’s business and issues.
Typically, we begin Day One with a review of various storytelling frameworks and tools then set off on our journey together, visiting and interviewing great storytellers in business in that city that exemplify principles of great storytelling in business. On Day Two, we debrief the lessons learned, using a number of different storytelling techniques to structure this time. The aim is to richly extract insights gleaned from Day One, and to understand how to apply them to your company. We’re not looking for best practices — but for best principles. It’s all designed to drive your company to new storytelling — and we are confident that many practical revenue-generating ideas will emerge from the field work conducted in a Story Tour.
Fees and Scheduling
Our standard fee for a two-day Story Tour is Euro 7.500 excluding VAT, plus
travel & meeting expenses as incurred. Tours can typically be
planned with about 30 days notice.
